Irish
whiskey is traditionally distilled
three times to give it a smoother flavour and
is usually unpeated. Single malts are available
from Bushmills and Cooleys. Cooleys also produce
Connemara which is a peated single malt available
at 40% and at cask strength. Cooleys distill
twice and only use ex bourbon casks. Click
